Open Innovation Promotes Product Iteration and Upgrading: Tianzun Air Conditioner

The air-spray technology of Tianzun Air Conditioner has disrupted the traditional refrigeration method of “blending cold and warm air in the room”.  On the contrary, it blends air inside the air conditioner and blows blended cool air out. Turning cold air into cool air, Tianzun solves the problem of “air conditioner disease.” The daily online volume exceeded 1228 when Tianzun was first launched on November 26th, 2013, setting multiple records of the highest unit price, the fastest sell and the largest volume of online air condition marketing.
 
After the launch of Tianzun, users asked whether swinging technology was possible. Although it was very difficult to find such a technical resource, Haier contacted many R&D organizations including Dyntech, ESI, CAS and space agency early in 2014 and finally achieved the swinging function with the help of all parties. In September 2014, the Tianzun Ⅱ was successfully launched in the market.
 
Over 670 thousand users participated in the preliminary R&D interaction of Tianzun Air Conditioner and asked whether the problem of “air conditioner disease” could be solved.
 
After Tianzun Ⅰwas launched on November 26th, 2013, users asked whether swinging technology was possible.
 
HOPE released demand for flow technology.
 
HOPE contacted many R&D organizations and finally achieved the swinging function with the help of all parties.
 
In September 2014, the Tianzun Ⅱ was successfully launched in the market. User interaction is still underway for the purpose of product optimization.
