During a spring 2017 trip to Washington, D.C., CEO Zhang sat down with MIT Sloan Management Review editor in chief Paul Michelman to discuss Haier’s latest reinvention, hence the interview was conducted.

 

This article shows their discussion about Haier’s platform transformation. According to CEO Zhang, the proposer of Rendanheyi Model, the Model is intended to empower the employees by reducing the distance between the organization and its end users to zero, thus achieving further development.
